Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photofacial

IPL Significantly improves the appearance of hyperpigmentation in the skin and vascular lesions caused by small blood vessels. The laser emits energy that is selectively absorbed by pigmented cells in the brown spots or oxy hemoglobin in the red spots, thus damaging/destroying them, leaving surrounding tissue intact. Improvement is typically seen 2-4 weeks after the treatment, and 1-3 treatments may be necessary for desired results.
